OVERHEAD INSULATED  POWER CABLE

Overhead insulated cable is a power transmission cable specially designed for outdoor overhead laying. Its conductor is wrapped with a weather-resistant insulation layer. Common materials include cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or weather-resistant PVC. This type of cable is suspended by a pole or bracket, combining the mechanical strength of traditional overhead bare wires with the insulation safety of power cables. It is mainly used for 10kV and below distribution network lines. Compared with bare wires, it has irreplaceable advantages in special scenarios such as urban power grid transformation and forest fire prevention areas.
